Our Story
Theatre Chameleon was founded in 2005 by a passionate group of theater enthusiasts in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to enrich the cultural landscape of the Russian community while fostering a deeper understanding of Russian theatrical traditions among the broader American public. As a registered non-profit, we are dedicated to promoting diversity and cultural exchange through the performing arts.
Our Journey Through Time
2005
Founding of Theatre Chameleon
In October 2005, Theatre Chameleon was established by a small dedicated group of enthusiasts in Seattle, marking the beginning of a cultural journey.

2006
First Major Production
Our first production of “Mozart and Salieri” and “Tale of Women Friendship” which gave us our first following of loyal patrons who are still with us to this day.

2012
Community Initiatives
We became a Washington State non-profit which allowed us to work directly with the community and to continue our work.

Now
Where we are
We became a 501C3 non profit allowing us to receive donations and provide stipends to the artists and community members who are supporting the arts. We were also invited on our first international tour to Vancouver, Canada.
